1) Nature Calling – The best way to de-stress and reinvigorate your soul is to take a quick hitch to nature. Camping, may it be vehicular camping, eco camping, social camping or glamping, will always give you a new boost of energy. Camping paired with activities like trekking help you unwind and relax, at the same time rediscover oneself. Nature also gives one time to take a deep breath and reflect on one’s goals, ambitions and how far they have progressed.
2) Where the Beach At – Although this is a similar idea to the one prior, a beach truly has its own unique impact, that greenery and mountains might not. The sound of the waves lapping on the shore can take one in a complete different state of relaxation alone. A nature trip is a mix of both relaxing and activity, a beach getaway is truly all about relaxation
3) I Totally Want to Check It Out – Living in a city and working or studying, sometimes we forget to discover the city itself. A museum you have always wanted to check out, that restaurant that you have great reviews for, the quirky place that your friends have told you about. Sometimes our weekends just go in catching up on house work and we don’t even get a chance to see the city that we live in. One of our suggestions would be to check in to a small hotel or hostel, just for the weekend so that you truly take it as a vacation and become a true tourist in your own city.
